Jeff Martin

Percussion

Jeff Martin is an active music educator, percussionist, and non-profit leader. A Cincinnati native, Jeff has been the Director of Steel Bands at Clark Montessori High School since 2013 teaching 5 steel bands for students in grades 7-12 with focuses on field studies and community service oriented performances. Studies include B.M. in Music Education from Ohio Northern University and M.M. in Music Education from Miami University. Currently, Jeff keeps a busy schedule as board president and a percussionist for the Queen City Freedom Band (Cincinnati’s LGTBQ+ Concert Band, www.qcfb.org) and as a member of the Cincy Steel Ensemble. Professional memberships include Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity, Kappa Kappa Psi Honorary Band Fraternity, the Ohio Music Education Association, the Percussive Arts Society, and the National Society for Steel Band Educators.
