FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: concertnova is thrilled to present "Music for the Soul” with NFL Legend Soul Cole on September 29th, 2024, at 2 PM at Rhinegeist Brewing's Event Space, "The Clubhouse." This one-of-a-kind event combines guided mindfulness with live classical music, creating a transformative experience that builds community through art and meditation.
Soul Cole, a former NFL player-turned-mindfulness advocate, leads an hour-long guided session designed to help participants reconnect with their true selves and invite harmony into their lives. After enduring the mental, emotional, and physical challenges of life as a professional athlete, Soul found healing through mindfulness and now shares this powerful practice with others. As a leading voice in reframing masculinity and advocating for wellness among Black men and people of color, Soul’s approach to mindfulness is both profound and inclusive.
The session is accompanied by a brand-new classical music work composed by concertnova's lead artistic director, Joe Bricker. Participants' mindful actions will directly contribute to the music, creating an immersive and collaborative artistic experience. The space is surrounded by plants, providing continually fresh air and a serene atmosphere, with the plants available for purchase afterward to support future #play-with-us concertnova events. Lululemon is a support partner for this event–the first 30 people to purchase tickets to Soul Cole AND do the following will get a FREE Lululemon belt bag:
