Daniel Outlaw

Oboe

Daniel Outlaw is an active freelancer based in Cincinnati who enjoys performing with various ensembles in the area. He is a proud member of the Queen City Freedom Band which focuses on bringing musical development and visibility of LGBTQ+ musicians and music to the community. Frequently performing in pit orchestras, he is greatly passionate about musical theatre and woodwind doubling. As a doubler, he regularly performs on flute/piccolo, oboe/english horn, clarinets, and saxophones. From Stravinsky to Jeanine Tesori, Daniel is devoted to bringing music to life.

Daniel earned his Bachelor’s in oboe performance at Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music under the tutelage of Mark Ostoich, Dwight Parry, and Chris Philpotts. When he’s not working on reeds or preparing for an show, you can find him exploring the area in search of the best food and drink Cincinnati has to offer.
